Alien Yarn Bomb!

This afternoon/evening I made a green martian yarn bomb for the October Challenge at Ravelry. I don't think it'll win, but I wanted to take a shot at it. :) I really had no idea what to make, but I had some green Vanna's Choice in the perfect color, and I immediantly thought of that. :)

Morgan's Bag -- Test

I'm testing Morgan's Bag, a beautiful bag by Doodlenoodle! :) Yesterday I finished the first strap. At first I had casted on the wrong number of stitches, and right at the end I realized it. So I started over yesterday.

Here's my progress so far...

I'm using Patons Classic Wool in "Dark Grey" and "Plum Heather". I love the colors together!

I think I'll go work on it soon. :)

Hats and Coasters

Hello! I finished sewing up Lollipop last night, but I must've sewed too tight, because it kinda messes it up. I don't think I'll do the ten rows of ribbing, because it's already long enough. That, and, when you wear it, there's a little "blob" at the top. :/ Overall, the colors are nice, and it's actually stripey. :)

I made some coasters for my Grandma this afternoon too! I noticed earlier that the center flower looks a lot like African Flowers, but tinier.

I think I might post the pattern, but I'm not sure yet. :)

If You Give a Chicken Mashed Potatoes...

...It's going to be hilarious!  Last night we gave the older chickens some leftover mashed potatoes from dinner, and they loved it! It got stuck to their little beaks, and it was so funny! :)

Knitwise, I just finished knitting Lollipop! I just need to sew it up now. I think I'll do that tonight. :) Then more pictures!

Lollipop Hat

Hey all! I finished the ribbing of Lollipop a couple of days ago, and this afternoon, I picked it up again and started the stripes. :) So far, so good. I've done two out of eight stripes, and I'm half way through the third.

No Apples Were Harmed in the Making of This Cozy

Yesterday I asked my Grandma what she wanted for her birthday in Novemeber. She said she wanted a crocheted ring, apple cozy or coaster.  I decided to make her a few apple cozies! So far I've made a plain red one, and next I want to make a snowman one, maybe. Do you want the pattern? If you do, just comment and say "Yeah" or "Nah". :) I really don't care...
